Updated: Sep 21, 2022
Historic City
The Grand Old Opry has been on the radio since 1925, making Nashville the center of Country Music. County fans come from all over the world to attend performances at the Opry, earning Nashville the nick name "Music City USA."
The city of Nashville is often referred to as "The Athens of the South" due to the large number of colleges and universities dating back to the mid-19th century. The city is also home to the world's only full-scale replica of The Parthenon, located in Centennial Park.
After exchanging vows why not visit a couple of our other local historic sites. The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson and The President James K. Polk Home & Museum.
