These are a few of my favorite things

Nashville has so much to offer. People all over the world have been coming to Nashville for decades out of love for country music, but there is so much more. For the past few decades, we've been known as "Music City" and rightly so. What you may not know is that long before the Grand Ole Opry, we were know as "The Athens of the South" due to our high number of institutions of higher learning, and also for our exact replica of The Parthenon. Nashville is home to Vanderbilt University, known by many as the Harvard of the South. We are also home to Belmont University, which is the namesake of Belmont Mansion. Nashville is also a leader in both healthcare and publishing, with giants such as Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), LifeWay Christian Resources and The United Methodist Publishing House all headquartered right here in Nashville. We also have NFL football, NHL hockey, minor league baseball and now, a brand new major league soccer team. We also have lots of great museums including The First Art Museum, The Tennessee State Museum, Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, Belle Meade Plantation, Belmont Mansion, The Lane Motor Museum, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Cheekwood, and just south of Nashville we have Carnton Plantation, Carter House and The Polk House. The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is also a great destination for animal lovers. Are you looking for great shopping, restaurants, entertainment and hotels in Nashville? Union Station Hotel, The Hermitage Hotel, Gaylord Opryland Resort, The Mall at Green Hills, Kayne Prime, Sinema, The Southern, Loveless Cafe, Martin's BBQ, Suzy Wong's House of Yum, Etch, Green Hills Grille, Parnassus Books, The Grand Ole Opry, The Belcourt Theater, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, TPAC, The Franklin Theater...the list could go on and on! If you are looking for a fun city to visit for your elopement, you've found it!
