Officiant Upgrades
We have several officiant upgrades to enhance your wedding ceremony. Upgrades may be selected when booking an elopement and they may also be added later.
Decorative Certificate of Marriage or Renewal - $25.00
Rich Events has created a customized decorative certificate of marriage and a similar decorative certificate of renewal. These are non-binding, ceremonial, decorative documents intended to commemorate the ceremony and provide a keepsake to take home and display. Please note that these are not legal documents. They are solely for personal and sentimental purposes. These certificates are customized for each couple, so this upgrade must be selected at least 24 hours before the ceremony. This upgrade is available to all elopement and traditional officiant bookings.
Commemorative Vows Certificate - $25.00
Rich Events has created a way for couples to remember their weddings vows. We will provide a lovely printed version of your vows on our high-quality paper that we also use to create our Certificates of Marriage and Renewal of Vows. These certificates are customized for each couple, so this upgrade must be selected at least 24 hours before the ceremony, but ideally 5 days before the ceremony. This upgrade is available to all packages at the mansion.
Robe & Stole Upgrade - $25.00
Rev. Rich can wear his black ministerial robe and white stole for your wedding ceremony. This requires specific attire to be worn underneath the robe and the robe must be brought out of storage, so this upgrade must be requested at least 48 hours in advance of a wedding. This upgrade is available to all elopement and traditional bookings.
Marriage License Delivery
Rich Events has two upgraded delivery options for Davidson County Clerk licenses and one for the other 94 counties in Tennessee.
In the $25.00 basic hand delivery option, Rev. Rich will personally deliver your completed and signed Tennessee Marriage License paperwork back to the Davidson County Clerk in Nashville after the ceremony. This upgrade is available to all couples in any package booking, but only for licenses obtained at the Davidson County Clerk in Nashville. The clerk will process the paperwork and they will send the certified copy to you by regular mail (U.S. Postal Service) to arrive within 30 days.
In the $100.00 premium hand delivery option, Rev. Rich will personally deliver your completed and signed Tennessee Marriage License paperwork back to the Davidson County Clerk in Nashville after the ceremony and have the paperwork processed at once, then ship three certified copies of the Certificate of Marriage to you by way of FedEx or UPS shipping, with tracking number provided. The certified copies will arrive within 15 days of the ceremony.
In the $40 guaranteed delivery option, Rev. Rich will have your completed and signed Tennessee Marriage License paperwork delivered to any of the other 94 county clerks in Tennessee (but not Davidson) by UPS or FedEx ground shipping with tracking number provided. Each of the other 94 county clerks sets its own policy regarding delivery of the completed documents back to the couple.

Premarital Counseling Program - $25.00
Rev. Rich has designed an at-home premarital counseling option that will help to prepare couples for marriage. This program also meets current Tennessee requirements to receive a discounted marriage license fee. This upgrade is available to couples booking the Just Married Elopement, Getaway Elopement, Getaway Plus Elopement and the Micro Wedding Ceremony. Rich Events can only guarantee that the County Clerks in Davidson County, TN and Williamson County, TN will accept our certification process. This upgrade requires at least 5 days notice before the wedding day as there are several steps to complete the process. Contact us with questions on this upgrade.

Elopement Ceremony Samples - $25.00
Rev. Rich will provide an extensive selection of elopement ceremony samples that go well beyond the standard elopement script. This upgrade must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the ceremony, but ideally 5 days in advance, to allow time for selection and processing. This document is automatically included with the traditional wedding officiant booking, but is an upgrade in the elopement officiant booking.
